and folks think comics is kids' stuff

JB just posted comment which included a line that had me running at high speed to google,

"Have you seen the Joker picture?! Scare-ifying!"

i had not. i have now.

i find this weirdly beautiful...

    I think it's perfect. And yes, there's a certain kind of beauty to it. The Joker is described in the comics has having a super intellect that's running at such a crazy speed that it processes incoming information in all kinds of crazy ways. One morning he might wake up and decide to play video games all day, because that sounds funny. The next morning he might wake up and decide to poison the city's water supply, because that sounds funny, too. Heath Ledger said in a previous interview that his version of The Joker will be creepy and sinister in the way that A Clockwork Orange is. And he also said that his Joker's insanity will be less about the laugh and more about the eyes. I expect nothing short of greatness. I also don't expect to see this Joker's face on any Happy Meals. ;)

    i think that's a reasonable assumption. although i'd kinda like to hear the marketing dept pitch for that. :0)
